What a beautiful spring we have had so far. Good rains, really nice temperatures, flowers and trees blooming everywhere. Before you know it school will be out and all the summer activities will start.
Sometimes, unfortunately, all our summer activities can draw us away from meeting together on the first day of the week to worship our Savior. When that happens we miss that short but precious time when we can leave the lying deceiving world behind to be with others whose minds have been made new. Ro 12:2, 2 Cor 5:17 It is always so refreshing to be with like-minded people praising God for what he has done. So as the vacations and all the other activities of summer begin let me encourage you to meet with other Christians for worship wherever you might be.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:23-25
